Setting a sale price?????
OK first off I KNOW mods are mine, nobody is gonna pay me 6K extra for any of Willie G's skulls....
I just need a guide of where to look for prices to set an realistic asking price, this is not a fire sale and the bike is paid for. And there are NO skulls on it...
Mods I've done are basic, pegs, grips, SE slip-ons and a sissy bar and backrest w/a rack. So I am not buried.
2012 Wide Glide w/a 103 and in a 2011 color (yellow, black flames).
Do I use NADA or is there a better reference point?
I should clarify I'm not looking for a number from y'all, I'm asking how do I come to a number? thx

I'm in a similar situation. The first thing I did was go to Cycle trader and search for the same year and model as mine to gauge a starting point. If you're not in a hurry to sell, it won't hurt to start a the top end of what you are hoping to get. That being said, don't expect to get 3 grand more that another guy who's bike has less milage. There are times you'll get lucky. A few years back, I sold a highly modded Cross Bones Bobber for the high end of my asking range because it was exactly what the buyer was looking for and he paid up.

I wanta be realistic in price, but I ain't giving it away.
It's weird everywhere it goes the compliments flow, yet my dripping in chrome black Road-King barely gets a looky look....lol

Try 80% of brand new. I always thought HD's drop 10% a year for the first 2 years, then 5% a year after that. Throw in something though for your extra's, maybe up to $1k
Just trying that theory out on my bike I came up with $10k - $11k which is probably ball-park

Adding to that, there is a basement for well maintained in good condition. Most seem to be 10k basement if in good condition regardless. And the old skool bikes are 7 to 8k.

Hit Craigslist, eBay, Cycletrader... find similar bikes and see what they go for. Add and subtract for mileage, options (little to no value) and condition.
When I had my RKC up for sale I took it in to see what they would give me for a trade in. I asked for $2K more and got $1500 more.

Half way between trade and retail on KBB is where most will sell. Little higher now that we are in riding season.
Check out ebay and click on ended listings and you can see what they sold for, unless they took a best offer.
