Security around trucks...
NONE OF THE MOTORCYCLES IN THIS PICTURE CAN BE SEEN IN THE TRUCKER'S MIRROR'S OR OTHER BLIND SPOTS. Take a moment and "SHARE this on your Facebook Page. IT COULD SAVE THE LIFE OF A SOMEONE YOU LOVE.
Folks, riding season is here in Canada and United States. When riding on highways, try not to "hang" around tractor trailers or any large trucks. Not only do they have a hard time seeing you, but there are other hazards associated with being near trucks, especially flatbeds and dump trucks which spew stones and pebbles behind them. Several times a year there are incidents of wheel separation from commercial vehicles resulting in the deaths of car drivers.
The stats refer to Ontario, Canada, but there is no reason to believe it is any different anywhere in the World as these commercial carriers try to cut costs. Lets be safe out there.

BADA BOOM CHE!
I try to get by trucks as soon as I can, mostly because of their tires can blow up. I've seen that happen and it's not pretty. I can't even imagine being in a car when that happens.

Thanks Zeus55 ; the two bikes on the truck drivers right instigated a search on Google for "truck blind spots " . It was good to refresh my knowledge of said subject .

I may not see you in the blind spots but a lot of times I hear you and know you're there..

I either hang far back or pass them. On the way to Myrtle Beach I saw one destroy a tire and flew up and hit a guys windshield. No thanks, I keep my distance.

If a bike passes in the right side blind spot, then comes over in front with out assured clear distance. Sport bikes tend to be harder to see....they crouch down and have less frontal area.
