Default Face mask?
I live in the south and the bugs are killing me at night.

Any ideas on something that can protect my face from bugs but not be extremely hot?

NO SKULLS!!

Two obvious suggestions come to mind:

1. Windshield
2. Full face helmet

I wear a small face shield from www.secondfaceon.com These things are lightweight, vented, ballistic rated and even filter out exhaust.

Just remember to remove your face mask before going into a convenience store or bank.
