Default Klockwerks Flare windshield issues.

Today I purchased a Klockwerks billboard flare windshield for my 2012 Fatboy.
Well I after I installed it on my bike I noticed a couple issues.
I found that no matter how much adjusting I did to try to get the windshield centered I couldn't get it centered. Well I take the windshield apart and I find the center mounting hole to be about 5/8" off center. And this center hole isn't slotted to allow for adjustment.

The other issue is according to the picture and the description of my windshield on the Klockwerks website this windshield is suppose to have a flare or recurve on the top of the shield. My windshield is pretty much straight up with little to no recurve.

And the last issue just to add that last little touch of aggravation is the little Klockwerks logo badge is not centered and crooked.

So I will call them tomorrow to see how I can get these issues resolved as I understand that any company can have issues with products. The important thing is how the company handles issues with defective products. I am sure they will take care of me and I will follow up with how Klockwerks handles this situation.

My Shield Had to be modified to fit my fairing. So I took a coping saw with a very fine tooth blade, double tapped the shield and drew out the line to be cut and went at it nice and easy. It worked out fine. As for the logo mine was off centered also so I just pealed it off and stuck it on my beer fridge. By the way I talked to them on the phone a few times and they are very good to work with.

Best of luck

This is good the hear. I could slot the center hole, but I can't curve the windshield like it shows in the pictures.

Before I put a Memphis Shades fairing on my Road King I had an LRS shield and loved it. Still have it but like the fairing so put an LRS on it and works great. I venture to say the Klockwerks cost more than LRS??? Not trying to be negative but I would send it back for a refund if possible and get an LRS. I am presuming they make one for your bike....

Yeah LRS does make a shield for my bike. The Klockwerks cost almost twice as much.

I put one on my Deluxe last year and everything fit and was a good install. Hope they correct things for you.

Well I called Klockwerks and they had me return the windshield to the vendor I purchased it from. The vendor gave me a full refund and I went and ordered a LRS for my bike.
