Smooth roads of Hawaii vs. freeways of L.A. with Shotgun Shock
On my recent Honeymoon vacay I had the pleasure of riding in Maui a bit on a rented bike. Nice, smooth as a baby's bottom highways on a stock Heritage.
Got back home and thought, so much for that. Time to take on the rougher freeways of L.A. with their grooves, ruts, etc.
Well, I forgot I had an ace in the hole. My Shotgun Shock.
Even with my bike lowered more than stock, and with my low profile Le Pera Bare Bones seat, road felt just as smooth as it did in Hawaii.
I often forget what a great system is because I tend to set it at my sweet spot and just enjoy.

Whenever l see your SIG pic it makes me want a 'slim!
I went to Honolulu a couple years back end route to Kauai to get married, the roads had too much traffic in the city for me but you from LA are probably used to a bit traffic!?

Thanks man. I dig your bike. Harleys look killer in white.
I did the road to Hana from our resort to Twin Falls. I would have went further, but it was a rented bike and I never full trust those in the super twisties with rain.
There was no traffic really and the roads were great. But my shotgun shock is an equalizer!

Where the hell in Honolulu did you go on smooth roads?? lol As of right now, they have a major H1 renovation going on which has helped smooth the roads, but the surface streets are still pretty rough and you are still dodging pot holes and other road debris. Now, Maui had some decent stretches of road, as they were very smooth from what I remember.

Opps. My mistake, said Oahu in first post. My bad. I was in Maui. Will edit.
