Air cleaner question

Air cleaner question
last weekend I traded my '12 Heritage for the same year Roadking. On the heritage, I experienced the breathtaking $2000 Stage 1 purchase (SERT Tuner, V&H full exhaust, SE air cleaner and time on the dyno) just to make it sound like a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
This go round, I "made them" throw in a pair of Reinhart slip ons as part of the deal. The Roadking was bone stock, but low miles.
Here's the question: I would like a free-er flowing air intake, but will I have to go through another tuner purchase and more dyno time after buying the air cleaner?
Q2: They tell me the SERT tuner I bought for the Heritage is only good for that particular bike. Is that true?
By the way, the RK is fantastic!

ps I dont think you need a tune with just the air cleaner and pipes but I have been wrong before and I am sure someone will chime in soon.

SERT is married to one bike only. No map needed for A?C and slip ons. If you are going to do a tuner do a tuner and not the download, this will save you money if you upgrade anything else in the future, personally I would go with a SERT

Yes, the SERT is 'married" to the Heritage and can't be used on another bike.
With a free flow A/C you can technically get by without doing anything tuning wise...but you will most probably not be happy with the results.
There are a lot of options that are far less expensive than what you spent previously, and far more effective than a "download".
You can see the most popular options at this thread-
