Default relocating negative battery cable

can anyone tell me if putting the negative battery cable on the frame of my nightster is OK?..I want easier access to it.

sure!! as long as you run another one from the chassis to the motor. don't know what year bike you have , but throttle cables get really hot really fast when acting as a ground for the starter motor!!

I was wondering about this myself after changing the battery on my wife's Nightster .. not a whole lot of room to work in lol

I put a dedicated ground on the starter on my FXST (from one of the bolts up to the frame where the other grounds meet), maybe he could do something like that?
