Default My latest Army Surplus luggage creation

For whatever reason, I'm just not into more leather on my bike other than my somewhat oversized swingarm bag. So the Army/Navy store has come in handy, along with my sissy bar.

This is an 18 buck Israeli Army rucksack, and I rigged up a strap system for it. My wife's old pantyhose protect my Bowman sissy bar:

I've also used a 15 Italian Army rucksack in a similar way. But it doesn't fit as clean.

Anywho just fartin around posting useless threads during my coffee break.

Thanks. It's a useful bag. Between that and my swingarm bag, I can haul my gym clothes, sneakers and pick up 10 rolls of TP when I run out. : ) The surplus bag actually has some faded hebrew writing on it, I'm guessing from the IDF soldier who owned it circa 1977.

Thanks for the seat compliment. It is a LePera Bare Bones and the LePera pillion that goes with it. I rate it a 9 to 10.

It sits you in the cockpit of the bike even lower and further back than the stock seat, yet is more comfortable. And it really plants you there well, because of the slight rise in the back of the seat, you don't slide a bit like you do with the stock seat.
