where's your fob? just changing the bars isn't going to have an effect on the security unless you really screwed something up. and if you did that, then you don't want to just change out the tssm (actually its hfsm, tssm is international) without fixing the problem.

the security is actually pretty good. the only ones calling it a pos are the ones that bring some sort of problem on themselves. the system works as designed.

are you referring to me? if so, i don't need to buy yours, i have my own. i'm on my 4th hd with security (proximity type) and i've never had a problem. the only thing i have had occur is one time, i was in an area with rf interference so the bike would not disarm. i input my override code, and within 10 seconds, i was up and running. i do not consider that a problem.

as far as 50,000 removing, i think that is probably overexaggerated by a huge amount. i have only read of a handful of people on the forum who have removed their security.

The security module simply unplugs but it has to be un-married from the ECM for the bike to work. It might be possible for a dearer to do this for free if you give them the module, they can then resell it. But I don't know - you would have to call and ask them.

If you changed the bars out, maybe you have a bad connection at the kill switch now? Worth checking....

Do you, and your glock, remain near your scooter 24/7/365? That is the only way for a glock to be used as effective security.

No it doesnt...to many people thinking they know more than they do...when going from tssm to plain ol tsm...its plug and go...if your adding the security from a stock tsm...you need to add stuff to your program...5 guys i talked to did it...and rode away withoutv a trip to the stealership...harley had a tendency of bullshitting people...they also claim you need to go to them after mounting straight pipes...well i also know leaste ten people who mounted tjhem with no stealership visit (twin cam) omncluding me...dont but everytjing you hear...Its most the time bullsh:-) :-)
