So..I have a '14 Ultra and have a couple of questions about the fuel tank...When I fill up with gas (high test) I fill the tank almost full. Then if I move the bike from left to right the fuel goes down...Fill it up to the top...Do the same thing 3-4 times...Is there a baffle in the ...I'm baffled...Also, Is there a way to calibrate the fuel gauge because when I get to 1/4 tank I think it's actually lower..No lights go on?

 

Yeah, there is a baffle in there, probably to keep gas from splashing out of the top. I do the same thing, jostle the bike a bit to get more gas in the tank. I don't know if you can have someone mess with the fuel gauge calibration, mine seems to work fine, warnings happen as described in the owners manual, when it gets to 10 miles on the range counter I get a pop up asking if I want directions to a gas station, etc......

 

Don't know for sure but I would also assume if you are filling the bike on the kickstand you probably get an air bubble at the highest point on the tank. Which would be the right side of the tank since it is leaning left. That is what I have always assumed caused it. I have 2013 and my light comes on with about 1 gallon of fuel left not 1/4 tank.
