Default 2005 Road King?

I got my eyes on this Road King...... 2005 with only 7700 miles for $10,900:

He wants my bike....2011 Super Glide, and $2200....what do you think?

I don't know about the value of the Super Glides, but for what he has I think that's a deal. Those miles are uber-low.

An even trade would be much better, see if you can work him on the price..
Never go for the asking price, always negotiate!

I can't seem to justify trading a 2011 with the 6 speed for a 2005 with a 5 speed...... PLUS having to give the guy a couple thousand $$$$ besides. Just seems kinda stupid to do that.

I would be patient and hold out for a 2009. You can find them for the same price as that 2005. Maybe seel your bike outright and buy the roadking in the winter.

Well, I traded a 2007 Road King Classic for my SuperGlide. I think if I got this Road King, I wouldn't be happy with it for long. I got rid of my other one because I didn't enjoy riding it as much as the FXDC. I just miss having some storage at times.....but....I'll get over it!
