Yea I'd say that's a major safety issue. One more reason not to buy the first year of a major change. Aww who am I kidding? I'm going to ride my 2010 forever as long as some texting teenager doesn't ruin it for me lol

A 13 for me too....I heard about this some time ago, but now its blasting all over our news channels here in my area and I am sure all others will follow....Wonder why if they knew this about this it took this long? Oh well @ least they did recall them..

Surprises me they actually did a recall, and not just a tech bulletin! I guess old dogs can learn new tricks?

Second "do not ride" recall on the CVOs this year. Looks like they need a new crew on the CVO line.

When it comes to safety issue, they better do! Remember the TBW problem in the past?

...The company knows of five crashes and two minor injuries related to the defect, which it discovered last fall through warranty claims...

Sure took their time.
