Don't thank Harley for riders in Africa that waved to you, thank your fellow residents.
Because the are so cool though, they all chose to ride Harleys. Cool people, cool bike.
A perfect fit.
Thanks for the post!

We were filming mountain passes about 200 km north of Cape Town last weekend when a large group of Harley's approached our camera vehicle from behind. We moved over to let the group through. Without exception every single biker waved a thank you. Impressive! Great to see such a good ethos amongst the Harley fraternity in South Africa.

I was playing with my PV while autotuning yesterday (parked on the side of the road) and a sport biker stopped to ask if everything was okay.
That was very cool.
That was very cool.

Same as if your trying to pull out on a busy road, guy leaves a gap so you can merge into traffic. He gets a wave of thanks.

I only wave if, under the same circumstance, I would do so while on foot. Such as if I'm on a 1 or 2 lane road, riding under 60 mph, there's no concrete divider and I can make eye contact.

Harley-Davidson of Johannesburg
Was in Johannesburg a few weeks ago and visited the H-D shop there. Got to meet the owner and he was one of the most friendly guys I've ever met. Now I just have to convince my good friend in Alberton to sell his Hayabusa and upgrade to a Harley!
