Default Road King intake on a Heritage

Does anyone know of a way to make a 2014 Road King Air Intake fit on a 2014 heritage softail? I know the 3-bolt pattern is different but there's gotta be a way!

Looking at Ronnie's OEM Parts Finder...

The induction module is the same part number, on both bikes. Looks like the backing plate (2014 RK) adapts the three hole pattern of the induction module to the 'offset' three hole pattern of the RK air intake/filter/AC. If you get all the parts, I can't see any reason it wouldn't fit. Part number below...

61300312 BACKPLATE, W/ REF # 8

Of course, I see the RK came with either a 103 or the 110. What I stated above, was referring to the 110 motor/intake. The 103 should be a direct replacement, since the bolt pattern looks to me like it is the same for it and the softail.

I have the 103 Softail and the air cleaner assembly is from 2014 Road King/Streetglide. Throttle size matches up just the bolt pattern is different.

Ok, I'm just looking at photos on the OEM Parts finder, that I posted the link to above. Might not be looking at the exact models, but this is what I see...

Looks to me like the induction module, (intake manifold), has two sets of bolt patterns for the air cleaner. Both are three hole patterns. One pattern, looks like the top two holes are closer together, while the bottom hole looks to have more distance from the top holes (if you know what I'm saying).

The other pattern is more concentric(?), where all three holes look to have equal distance from each other. Have you checked to see if the air cleaner you want to mount will fit either of the patterns on the induction module (intake manifold)? Or are you just going by the bolt pattern on the different air cleaners?

If I'm missing something, let me apologize for being a pest. Just trying to help figure it out for you. As you said in your op, there must be a way, even if you have to fabricate an adapter plate.

I actually used the link you provided and found that there is a multi fit adapter for 26.00 that bolts to my throttle body and allows the Road King air cleaner to fit. I never would have found it without your help. THANKS!
