Your messing with us, right? Though I have thought about sticking a mohawk, spikes, or ponytail on my helmet. Just to screw with people.

I wear a FF only when it's really cold out, and yes I definitely agree they provide superior protection than a 1/2 or even 3/4.
To me, one of the greatest parts about riding a scoot is the wide-open view and feel you get. Some of the sunsets you see on a scoot are just breathtaking, something you can't replicate in a cage. I don't know about others, but I lose a significant portion of that feel when I put on the FF lid.
So its 1/2 lid for me.

Even better...stars.

I just rode back from Spokane to Lewiston, Idaho last night, down US 95. Completely away from towns and their light. Once it got completely dark, I could look up and see the stars while I was riding.

It's just breathtaking.

Full coverage.

I can't comment on the ones that you mentioned but the above is DOT and small.
There is a huge thread on here regarding it

Thanks for the name of this helmet. Someone else recommended it by AK88 and I did not know what that was.

Hey Josewales- nice bike and I love the bags. I see they are cavalry. I assume same size as the HD touring bags- my question to you is what kind of rear turn signal light are you using? it looks pretty cool and seems necessary when putting hard bags on a Fatboy. thanks!
