just seen this on the news. guys riding his 13 year old daughter on the back of his dresser as they were on their way to watch some fireworks. anyway some dumbshit is shooting a gun up in the air and a .45 slug comes down going though the top of his tourpak. alittle slower and it would have hit his daughter in the top of the head. they interviewed him on the news and he was not happy to say the least. he said if he caught the person the cops would be the least of their worry's. can't agree with him more. why do these idiots do this ? people get hit every year. they are looking for the person who fired the gun,but no luck. this was on channel 4 kmov in St.Louis today and this guy was pissed.

 

Too bad they won't find the shooter. I can't understand why people would do that.

 

Because moron idiots that do things like shoot guns into the air do not have a high enough IQ to understand that what goes up must come down... and that it will come down at terminal velocity which is enough to kill someone.

Firing in the air like that is really common in muslim countries. Of course that means that people being injured or killed from it is pretty common too.

 

My dad owns a roofing business and every year after New Years and July 4th he gets calls for roof leaks when it rains. Most common cause? Bullet hole in roof

Terminal velocity of a downward bullet is about 200mph. Never would have thought it was that fast. A number of people have died from this. Didn't know that.

 

when i was deployed to iraq, a guy in my unit was hit in the back from 'celebratory' fire at around 2am when he was on his way to the porta potty. could tell it was not a intentional shot due to the angle of penetration. sucks to get shot, and not even get a purple heart out of it.....

 

when the bullets fall on their kids and then blame the jews for it.
