Default t shirts and shorts

I know its been gone over a hundred times, but evertime im out almost ever rider i see is in t shirts and shorts.... do they no know what "could" happen???? Ive been down before, and always ride with my leather jacket and chaps and leather boots. Yes its a bit hot sitting in traffic when its hot but when your moving its fine. I just shake my head when i see these people and hope they dont learn the hard way.

Must be a NY thing. I see them, but rarely. Like, one a month, maybe. And that's only during the hot summer months.

But yeah, I don't get it either. Hell, forget about the road rash issue - if I can feel the heat through denim, I can't imagine what skin rubbing up against a hot exhaust would be like.

I see it a dozen times or more every day here.

Seen a guy yesterday on a sportster wearing a bathing suit, no shoes, no shirt, no helmet and had 2 spear guns strapped down with the spears right behind his head.

I don't agree with riding without gear but its their choice.

100 degrees here and i am fine. i don't understand the guys that say they sweat while riding, though i'm not hiding behind a windshield. dress for the crash. ride long enough, and its almost guaranteed you will go down (no homo)

To each there own, but ive seen and done that and have the scars to prove it. I talk to some and they say its to hot to wear leather, if only they knew what road rash felt like i bet they would concider wearing leathers. I know everyone rides there own ride but i look at others and hope they figure it out sooner than later.

You don't get on my bike if your wearing short or tennis shoes. I know what road rash feels like from hitting a dog doing 65 mph and I know what it feels like when the ER nurse scrubs the road rash on my a$$, didn't like it.

I think the same thing when I see people smoking cigarettes!

Thats the problem with our country now. Everybody wants to tell you how to live.
Why is it alright to kill a mouse all the while we are being taken over by dogs and stupid people.
