2005 Ultra Classic squeaking or squealing coming from motor, any possibilities?

Had the same issue on an '07 Street Glide - tighten exhaust clamp located behind rear cylinder and wd40 on rubber exhaust mounts under saddle bags. Also check header bolts for proper torque. Chirping noise went away immediately but then I ended up with a big grin that was hard to remove

Next time you're stopped and hear the squeaking, put the bike in neutral and on the side stand.
Then, you'll need something to protect your hand.
On the left side, push against the muffler just under the rear end of the saddlebag.
Does the squeaking stop?

Chirping/squealing....when I had my '06 Dyna, one ride the wife and I went on, she started doing that. Irrelevant of bike speed, but matched engine speed. Limped home...to buddies garage..took primary cover off, copper spaghetti everywhere inside. The stator mount bolts had backed off and went interference with the copper winds.

one thing is the compensator nut backing off and rubbing the primary case if not addressed it will rub a hole in the case. another issue I have had is the rubber exhuast mount under the bags gets hard or? and the rocking motion causes the pipe to move in the mount and it squeaks.

I ended up taking the bike to Hillside Cycle in Munnsville NY. Scott Palmer and his team diagnosed the problem and it turned out the Tappets and Cam were bad. They replaced the Screamin Eagle parts with an S&S Cycle Premium Hydraulic Tappet Set and Cams. The bike runs like new now. The old parts were pretty worn even at only 21000 miles. Thanks for everyone who responded with your help and ride safe.
