Default '15 Road King Classic ????

Anyone think MOCO will offer a RKC in the USA in 2015?

Bring it back after only a one year hiatus? Can't see it happening myself, but I've been wrong before...

I just don't think Road King sales are strong enough to support it these days. Everyone is buying Street Glides and Limiteds from what I've heard and seen.

True, the Street Glides are extremely popular right now. But the King will always be the King for those wanting a motorcycle without a lot of frills, yet comfortable for longer rides.

Personally, I don't see it coming back. At least for a couple of years. They went to great lengths to make the 2014 RK a cross between the standard and the classic. Just look at the new RK and you'll recognize Classic designs here and there. Hell, I even bought a pair of passenger floorboard covers that I thought would go well with the tank emblems, etc.,. Even they were labeled for the RK Classic.

I imagine the Road King Classic is just as dead as the Road King Custom.
cause Harley has killed the snot out of both of them

I'm not! Just not into fairings or other "trendy" appointments. Would take a RK over a SG or Limited ANY day. Hell; I'd take a Low Rider or SuperGlide Custom over these bikes.

Half of the new RK's I see in the dealer's have the WWW tires and laced rims. Can still buy the bags and presto, you have a classic. They won't bring it back. Best looking bike they made IMO. I'm a bit biased though, I've wanted one since the first time they rolled them out.

I believe the bag mounts are different after the 14s.

The older style hard and leather bags wont fit.

I love my classic.

As I understand, the RKC was not discontinued, it's just not offered in the USA. I'm considering going back to a bagger and hoping there is a '15 RKC in the USA.
