Default So Sad....

Driving back from Peoria, to Indianapolis yesterday on I-74.... The amount of bikes heading west, trailers of bikes was impressive.... It was sad because my bike is still in pieces waiting for the new wheels from my accident.... Have fun people while at Sturgis, I envy you all!!!!!!

I get enough "rally" twice a year here for my tastes no need to go to "the same but larger" thousands of miles away..

Everytime I get to feeling melancholy about Sturgis I go to the local weekend hangout bar people watch & listen to the drama and it set my head straight again. Miss riding the country to & from but not the destination. You poor peeps who have deal with rain I feel for you and I seriously do not miss that crap.

Hehehe - you never really get "used" to the rain, regardless of what anybody says. It's just miserable.

I want to ride to Sturgis someday. What I'm really looking forward to is the long ride out there and back. Probably won't ride much while I'm there, but the trip there and back would be awesome. While I'm there I'd probably drink too much, walk around checking out the bikes and enjoy the circus. Then ride back to Tennessee. So yeah I wanna go.

It really is. I had planned a trip this year, but my schedule (kids) said otherwise. Not a big deal really, my riding buddy couldn't make it either. We'll be there for the 75th for sure.
