Default Pros and Cons on a 2003 Screaming Eagle Road King

Hi All,

I may have the opportunity to buy a 2003 screaming eagle road king with 17k miles on it.

I am looking for the pros and cons of the bike. Any known issues? Does the 103 in have the same tensioner issues as the standard 88 iu=nch twin cam of the same year

I would be trading my 05 fat boy in on it if I do buy it.

Thanks in advance

103 or 110? I forget.

If it's the 110, they had some serious motor isues; something to do with the cylinders.

its a good bike, it does have the same set up on the tensioners, it will need some kind of attention, either change over to newer style tensioners or ck runout for gear drive, or just change the shoes every 30k. crank is good, very few issues there, I had the deuce in that year, was a very good running bike . if bike is in good shape, you will enjoy it. it will never be worth a bundle, not much collect ability there,(either was the deuce!) but the king was a cool bike enjoy it, don't let the tensioners be a big issue, they really just an inconvenience, (as long as you maintain them)

by the way it is a 103
