I called my favorite service, Haul Bikes, this morning to schedule a bike shipment from Maryland to Colorado. Per the website, the "rough" fee quote was $640. When I get on the phone with their office, I get a price over $800. I am told, private residence drop off, fuel surcharge, blah, blah. Okay, so what the hell, I decide to pay the extra. Then I am told, it will take over a month, because they are real busy!

So, I am looking for other options. Can anyone recommend a good provider?

Basically the site allows several transport companies to bid on your shipment. You pick the one that works best at meeting your budget & timeframe.

 

U ship- isn't that company that those goofballs on the show "Shipping Wars" use? If so, don't let Jared win your shipping bid or you'll have Harley chunks all over the place!

I shipped my Road Glide across country this year and used Federal Motorcycle Transport.
