Beware ordering tires from J&P Cycle online
I just placed an order online for a new front tire for my bike and when I got the order confirmation email I was charged for two different tires. I never even clicked on the other tire I was charged for and when I checked out there was NO option to review my order before submitting. The frustrating part was when I called them they said there was no way to change the order and I would have to ship back the unwanted tire and wait for them to refund my money to my credit card. Very frustrating to say the least.
I'm just passing this information along.

Normally I would call the bank and put a stop on the order, but I need the tire as I am getting ready for a cross country trip, and it is on sale. Besides, the money was deducted from the account before I even knew of the screw up. I spoke with a person on the phone who says they can't retract the order from the warehouse, and I was told the same thing on an online chat. I have ordered tires from them online before and didn't have a problem. None the less chalk this one up as a learning experience, and I will now only order over the phone. Like I said, I am just passing this information along.

Usually venders will correct the order if product hasn't been shipped.
That discounted tire now cost more due to return shipping charge for the one you didn't order.

I have returned items with the packaged shipping lable, no charge to me. I have also had a tube that failed on instalation (it was replaced with a phone call, no questions). Not sure where you bank but the intrest on the price of the tire probably won't buy a cup of coffee. If your luck is like mine, you should keep the extra tire. I've had 3 rear tire flats in the last year. Good luck on your cross country ride!
