Like the real Sturgis...it's too far.

 

I have been a couple of times, never plan to go back. Billed as a "wholesome family rally"...harassed for drinking beer in our campsite...had to put it in a cup, children everywhere, lights out at midnight...really? Not your typical motorcycle rally.

 

Well the website looks to be put together from a previous years web page, no acts are listed, and i live 50 miles from there and have heard absolutely no one mention it. Maybe someone will show up. Only costs $20 this year so the acts might be something like, "Slim Chance and the Can't Hardly Playboys"

 

I think its supposed to be a little revamped this year, I may give it a try. If it sucks, I'll leave.

Like you said It's local ppl I've never heard of.

I live 40 min away so I'm going to check it out.

 

I went several years (until they cancelled it) -- nice easy ride up from Baton Rouge, fun time with a few friends, but always friggin' hot(!). We're gonna check it out again.
