Default Yeti Rambler travel mug- Impressive

Debate going on over in the boating/fishing forum about these $35 travel mugs... Most (myself included), think it's a hell of a waste of money. But that said, nothing keeps a drink (water in my case) cold on the scoot within reach that I have found. If I thought it would work, I'd buy one. Well some of the posters I have come to know over the last 12 years gave it rave reviews, so I ordered one.. Tested it today, here is a copy of my post on that thread today..

Today I got to test it. Filled it with ice then water at 8am (80 degrees out). Rode until 2pm (93 degrees) it still had 3 or 4 cubes 1/2-3/4" left in about 2" of ice water. Look at the photo I posted above, the cup sits no more than 4" from the head of a air cooled 97hp engine. The outside of the cup was almost too hot to touch.
Only thing I have to be careful of is keeping the opening toward the front of the bike, other wise, every time I hit the throttle I wear a little cold water (not to bad on a day like today).

I had to share, may be one the best $35 add on's on the bike!

Interesting you chose to put on the throttle side.
Cruise control or dead stop or no water...

Best question I've heard all day Baka. Yeh, coffee more important than cold water.

What cup holder is that? As far as the cup goes, I'd buy one...

Yeti cups come in 20 and 30oz sizes.

Pretty similar to the insulated Kleen Kanteen, but they only come in up to 20oz sizes; different choices for a top though, with cafe, steel loop, and sports bottle top available. The Kleen Kanteen will keep ice all day in the tour pack, summertime in VA.

The 20oz Kanteen will fit in a normal bicycle sports bottle holder.
