Alrighty I'll be removing the hand switches from my bars will I be able to use the stock throttle tube by it self or will i need to get something like the whiskey throttle?

ill be removing the clam shell that holds the blinker buttons and was wondering if I could use my stock throttle tube or would I have to buy an after market one but ive since figured it out

 

That clam shell is what holds your throttle grip in place. Or I also don't know what the hell you're talking about.

 

The "clam shell" is also holding the ends of the throttle cables so the throttle grip/tube can pull on the inner cables. Without the "clam shell", the stock throttle won't work at all.

 

Hate to be that guy but this is one of those dumb questions that could be answered by looking at the handlebars for two seconds. People surprise me sometimes.
