Default I don't know how you guys wear a Full Face with glasses.

I've been thinking about getting a full face helmet primarily for cold weather riding. I went to a shop today and tried on several full face helmets. What I discovered was there is no way they will work with my prescription glasses. While I was there I tried on a Fulmer modular and it actually felt pretty good. This was the first time I have tried on a modular and was wondering if some of you could give me some feedback. Also wondering what some of the more popular modular helmets are. Thanks for your comments.

My best friend wears a modular with eye glasses and works great. I guess the trick is being able to put the glasses on without a helmet face in the way. My solution was to just wear contact lenses.

About three months ago I started looking for a full face after doing a lot of riding in cold weather. I stumbled on the Revzilla web site. It gave me a lot of good information on sizing and finding the right helmet to fit your head shape. I found the Nolan N104 and love it. Have rode in driving rain and 40 degrees to 90 and windy. Still like it.

I wear a Fulmer 3/4 most of the time, buy I also have a Shoei Neotec that is comfortable. The Shoei has channels cut in the helmet liner for glasses.

Have a FF Bell and it's great, but it doesn't like glasses. Went to a modular and it's much better. Still looking for the perfect modular tho.

Good luck.

Shoei Neotec has channels cut into the liner for glasses, but you still have to put the helmet on first then the glasses.I like a Fulmer 3/4 the best. Try everything on you can till you find what's most comfortable for you.
Sorry about the duplicate post

I have a Shoei RF1100 and a HJC modular helmet and have no problem wearing glasses with them. I also have a Suomy, but I had to trim some foam out of it to wear my glasses.

I also wear glasses and came upon the Nolan 104 but have not purchased. PK54 would you say they fit according to their sizing? Run small or large?
Thanks for the input.

Actually no, the trick is not being able to put the glasses on without a helmet face in the way. The trick is to take off your glasses before putting the helmet on or taking it off. At least that has worked for me over the last 43 years, and several FF helmets.

Sort of like taking boots off before putting on, or taking off, pants.

Interesting I just happen to try on the Shoei RF1100 today and there was no way it would work for me with glasses. I actually felt like I might break my glasses if I tried to force the helmet on. Without my glasses the RF1100 felt like a good fit. My head measures 23 ' usually a large and I believe I am an intermediate oval. I'm almost embarassed to say that I've been riding since 1974 and have never invested in a really good helmet. Most of my helmets have been HJC around the $100.00 price point. Last winter I bought a 3/4 Bell Custom 500 on close out, it's not bad as an extra helmet but I believe it is a little to round for my head. As someone mentioned I am going to use Revzilla to research my possibilities. Thanks for your comments.
