Hand goes numb

Hand goes numb
I seem to constantly be struggling with my throttle hand going numb after riding for 20 - 30 minutes. The only way I seem to get the feeling back is to set the cruise control and shake it to get the circulation back in it. It feels better very quickly, but then comes back quicker when I go back to manually working the throttle .
Anybody else have this issue? What have you done to stop it from happening? Using the cruise helps, but is not always convenient. I really don't know how long I could ride and still be able to work the front brake if I didn't have cruise control.
I don't want to use the cruise as a crutch, I want to figure out how to remedy this issue permanently.

On a previous Softail Deluxe this would happen all the time, even with a lighter throttle grip. So....I changed grips to ISO grips, installed the wide throttle boss designed for that ISO grip that bolts to the end and got some gloves with gel in the palms. That pretty much took care of the problem for me.

Many times this can be corrected with a bar adjustment or replacement. Your wrist angle could be contributing to your circulation problem, especially if you can't hang loose when you're riding. For instance bars like buckhorns put your hands at more of an angle than baby apes. Try pushing or pulling your bars and see if it makes any difference.
