Default Booking for the 75th

So have been looking for the last week to book our house for next years 75th at Sturgis. We've stayed close & far the last few times out & enjoyed staying farther away. We really only do the rally in town for a couple days for music & fun then spend the rest of the time riding. Looking to rent a cabin/house in a new area that we haven't stayed before up in the hills. Anyone have any place they have stayed that the like better then the rest? Just trying to find other options before I book our place this week.

We stayed in a house in the hills just south west of Rapid City this year really quite and good riding. Only a few twisty miles from the Black Hills national forest. Deadwood is pretty cool too.

We've already got lodging booked for 75th -- nice house in Custer, cost us about $2K, split between seven people.

We have booked (and just received the confirmation) at Glencoe Campground which is $200.00/week. I know you wanted to rent a house or similar but I just can't justify spending that kind of money. We trailer our bikes (don't say it!) and are able to bring every luxury item to make the stay perfect. I even bring a golf cart, generator, A/C unit, regular bed, etc. You can all say what you want but the couple thousand dollars saved will pay for the entire trip.

I'm with ya on the camping tip for sure on saving $$! The wife & I camped the first year we went & she is not going to ever camp again. The rains & hail storms pretty much ruined her (and my wallet) i that. We stayed in a hotel the next time & that wasn't too bad, but now we've got a group of 7 of us & figured splitting a house was a good way to go. No way she'll miss going being she rides her own too & just loves the rides out there so I'm stuck with paying $$$. Oh well, at least I'm coming home with a hot girl who rides every night
