Selling vehicles is a shell game. You have the 'price shell', the 'trade in shell' and the 'finance shell'. If you chase one you will most certainly lose on the others. Check all of your shells before signing.

It says "retail" not MSRP - As most know for example on KBB.com, there is trade-in value & retail value. Substantially lower than MSRP on a bike with a few years on it...as in mine..lol

I have absolutely no problem with the dealership making a profit. Even a nice profit. He's gotta feet his family, too. Besides, I don't spend half of my life sleeping in hotels, eating out of boxes, and picking through thunderstorms/blizzards/terrorist threats/silly grandmas that haven't been to an airport since 1967, just because it's "neat". I gotta eat too! LOL

I bought a new left over 13 deluxe 2 months ago. Traded in 04 fxdl and gave them 10k. Thought I came out ok. Also 20 % off ant accessories including the stage 1 stuff. Not sure why the deluxe and 3 other 2013 dynas were still left, but the dynas got gone quick also.

i don't know about him, but my family came with feet. i didn't have to buy a one. now shoes, that's another story. my wife never met a shoe sale she didn't like

on another note, the retail for retail deal was how i got my cvo. traded in my 2010 rgc for this 2013 cvo and i think i got a heck of a deal. of course, i paid msrp, plus freight, set up, and docs, but i would have had to pay that regardless. deals below msrp are few and far between in la. and especially not on a high demand bike like a cvo.

Damned auto-correct!

Yeah, the Retail for Retail worked out well for me.

Paying the asking price for a product isn't necessarily being scammed.
