The catch for me is I'd lose at least $5K on stuff I've added.... Nature of the beast, I guess.

I am sure they sock it to you with fees on the new bike.

It's just a gimmick. You probably have to pay MSRP on a 2014 of equal or greater value, then they'll get you with a bunch of jacked up "fees". And none of that will be negotiable. They'll get their money from you one way or another!

O'boy I'm going to haul my 11 Road Glide CVO Ultra down to them! Hope they have a boat load of cash to add to the new Sporty that I want.

There is an asterisk there somewhere. It's that time of year when the dealers need to move the remaining 2014 inventory. Marketing is in full swing. The offer is just bait to get people in the door. Once you enter the door, anything goes. Bring plenty of lube. They are going deep.

NADA.com shows original price when you are checking the value of a used bike. Of course as others have mentioned this is without any extras you have put on.

I recall a few years back a lot of Harley dealers were offering full MSRP if you bought a new Sporty from them and then traded it on a Big Twin within 12 months or something along those lines. Never heard of full MSRP on all used Harley's unless they subtract for years owned/miles ridden. There is always a catch to these kinds of deals. If anyone actually goes up there to check it out please do let us know how it turns out.
