I don't know anything about that jacket. But in general you can get a better quality made in USA jacket for the same money as a Chinese HD jacket. Check out Hillside, Schott, Fox Creek, Branded Leather.

I'll pile on this thread, anyone have any experience with "BILT" brand gear. they are sold at Cycle Gear here locally and I am in the market for a good jacket but not necessarily in the $500-$800 range.

I also have their kevlar jeans and the Heat Out compression shorts and helmet liner. I think Cyclegear makes good quality for the money. That said, I haven't tried their leather jackets. And sice I got a good deal on my Schott jacket, my FXRG, and Harley mesh jackets, I don't think I'd try a Bilt leather jacket.
Another think about Harley jackets. Some are much better than others. I picked up the FXRG and the El Camino II jackets for less than half retail. Both are subtle without obvious Harley logos plastered on them.
The FXRG is an excellent winter jacket and is all I wear in the winter. Very well made. It also fits me perfectly.
The El Camino II is poorly made and is sized terribly. The arms are way too long. One of the belt loops has fallen off.
Harley jacket quality is variable depending on the jacket model. Some have medium/thick leather. While others use thin tissue leather better for fashion and not riding.
The brown Schott Perfecto 125 I have is extremely well made and fits like a glove. It's my favorite jacket. Plus, it's not too hot in tems pushing 90*. It's a great riding jacket.
Higher than that and I use the mesh. In the rain and I use the Bilt.

I have a similar one- the zippers on the HD branded jackets seem to be really shoddy stuff.Tiny teeth, and a tiny pull thingy that I can hardly get ahold of. I have to rub the zipper with soap every time I dig it out to wear it.
[got it cheap off ebay, and sold my 20 year old one which didn't fit me anymore, for more money] ....I wouldn't buy another one.

I have the Bilt Typhoon waterproof textile jacket. Similar to Aerostich or the Frist Gear Katmandu jackets. I paid $100. It's a good jacket for the money and works well in the rain. Much cheaper than Aerostich. I'm sure Aerostich is better, but at 1/5 the cost and the quality of a $200 jacket, it's worth it to me.
