Default Booked for 75th

Well pulled the trigger & booked our cabin for the 75th! Not much left that I could find scouring tons of rental sites, so when I found one in the area we wanted I booked it. Staying right outside of Lead up in the hills. 10 day trip all together, figured that would be enough being the traffic from the anniversary will most likely eat up 3 full days lol. Get to booking if your planning on going cause there wasn't much the last few days I could find!!

Nothing, really. That's why you shouldn't go. Save yourself the time, money, and trouble.

We booked in late July, Rapid City for us. Either 8 of us going, or 4. Time will tell as we get closer.

I plan on pulling into the Lamphere Ranch unannounced, finding the nearest cluster of shade trees, unload bike and beer then ride ($20 per night). Not sure how anyone will be able to tell the difference in this years attendance over next years attendance. Reminds me of a Norway deployment 150 miles above the Arctic Circle and a few Marines were bitching that it felt colder today over yesterday, really? Cold is cold and crowds are crowds.

What are some decent hotels within 50 or 60 miles? I've never been, but I'd like to go next year. From the sound of things, it would be advisable to get accommodations early.
