Accidents, where do you fall?
Found this online, we are pretty close to the top down here. I blame it on the squids

Surprised me that Illinois was so low. Seeing as we are a no helmet state. No it don't really as most riders here are intuned to what we are doing when riding as well as to what is going on around us.

Good old Louisiana, it is always at the top or very close to the top of most list that consist of anything negative. This state is a piece of work when it comes to negative statistics........amazing that I am still living here. I am not about to take up for this place, hell yeah we got the worst drivers on the planet. I stay gone and tour all summer long on the bike and other states drivers are so much better than our folks. It is what it is, unfortunately............lol. If you ride through here, be careful - it's soccer mom and king ranch pick-ups doing there multi-tasking while driving.

louisiana...has not been the same since hurricane katrina. lots of people left because of the hurricane, and never went back. unfortunately, many of them ended up in texas. so they greatly increased the number of bad drivers in texas, and lowered the number of bad drivers in louisiana...or it would be even worse there.
you can do anything to prove a point with statistics. texas is one of the most populated states, and is also the second largest. we have a number of large metropolitan areas that are heavily populated with poor drivers(many of who moved here because they could find a job) that contribute most of the bad drivers and accidents. the rural areas are lightly populated with good roads. overall, texas is a great place to ride. it would be even better if the snowbirds would stay up north all winter.

These are some of the highest and it so happens where all the Harley riders flock to in the summer. Hmmm...
