My aunt came from San Francisco to visit her sisters in East Texas. While in town they went to the local eatery, the nicest place in town...about the same as a Furr's here in a real city. While pondering the menu my California Aunt says, "oh, this looks nice, I didn't even know that had this here, I will have the sa'lade" My mother looked puzzeled and asked, "what did you say?". She replied, "sa'lade...I didn't even know they had that here in such a small town." My mother laughed and said, "that's not sa'lade....it's SALAD".

Oh well, you can take a horse to water except in California, it's a $500 fine.
