Default Non Tour Bike sales must be hurting.

Local dealer here running website ad basically on all Dyna's & Softails. 0 down & .99% for 60 months on new 2012-2014's in stock. Still have some new 2012's?? Just found it interesting.

That could be. You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a bagger.

Just my opinion, but I think a lot of folks first Harley may be a used Dyna, Softail or even an older bagger. But when they decide to buy new, looks like most go the bagger route.

Think cold day in hell May pick up an evo FXR sometime maybe. I think Harley is going to price itself out business the way it's going

True dat! I won't ever buy a new vehicle again. Full MSRP, plus all the bullshit fees & taxes, then you drive (or ride) it off the showroom floor & it's worth 1/3 less?? Screw that!

I'll let the original owner take the hit. If you buy used low miles & mint, you will do fine. I have had just as many problems with new bikes as with lo mile used.

Now, as the Harley demographic ages, more people are going for the geezerly type bikes, since young people mostly want sportcrap. If I were to buy new, & the only way I would do that is if my bike got stolen or wrecked, since it usually takes me 6 months or more to find something. I wouldn't wanna be bikeless for that amount of time.

And, it would be a Deluxe, in Morocco Gold pearl. Don't care for the new RoadKings.

Custom built choppers were still all the big rage when I bought my '07 Night Train back in the Fall of '06...

Now sofa glides are popular...

I'll just hang on to the Train and my FXR shovelhead...

I never was one to go along with the crowd...

A lady Friend of mine once said to me, "You should get a Street Glide. Everybody has a Street Glide!". LOL!
