Default saddlebag question

In regards to extended or stretched saddlebags...when the specs say its a 4" or 5", etc...does that mean the bottom of the bag is that much lower than the stock bag?

Typically both bottom and how far back they go. Different brands have different terms...stretched, extended. (both). The ad for each bag usually tells you how much lower..and how much more rearward..the bag is. Like 4.5" lower and 6" more rear...you should see both of those dimensions in the ad.
