Default Observations of an old rider

I'm 57 years old ... things in my life have definitely changed

Here are some of my observations:

Riding the speed limit at night is actually fun

Women over 50 are better lovers and fun to hang out with

Windshields/Windscreens make riding much easier and enjoyable

Stock Harley Davidson Road Kings are the best and most reliable motorcycle ever made.

Feel free to add your observations ...

Comfortable clothing beats the heck out of most "fashionable" stuff.

I'm older than the OP. My beard is now white, but I'm ok with it...(stay thirsty my friends!)
My mid-section is thicker than it used to be. It takes much long to heal after an injury.
The range of women that are attractive to me is much broader now.
It is impossible for any sales person to intimidate me. (or anybody else for that matter)
I continue to learn new things, and keep an open mind about a wide range of subjects. I may be able to retire in 3 to 6 years! Woo Hoo! Much more time to ride then!

At 55-I no longer feel invincible.
I care way less (if at all)of what other people think of me.

I agree with items (1), and (2). I have never experienced (3) or (4).
I have noticed that I wish I would have started this "healthier eating" thing sooner in life. I enjoy riding a no frills sporty to get away from all of life's distractions, rather than wrapping myself in them and taking them with me everywhere. Jack Daniels over ice is much better now, then in my younger years. Maybe ice is different now. I'm 52 y.o.

Single malt scotch tastes so much better than it did 20+ years ago. (I'm 60.)

1. Yes it's definitely more fun because I can't see worth a **** at night anymore.
2. I just started seeing someone who will be 50 soon (I'm 55), Yea she's god but no comparison at all to the younger ones I've had. But now at my age a much younger one would have my back ruined in about a week.
3. Don't know but if I had anything other than a sporty I'd probably check into it.
4. No idea, but I will probably find out soem day.
