What was the last year for the Softail Springer?
Not the Heritage Springer or the Cross Bones, but the old style Softail Custom with Springer front end?
Also, does anyone know what was the last year for the regular Softail Custom?
Thanks.

I could be mistaken, but I believe there was a 2012 CVO Springer and 2006 may have been the last non-CVO Springer.

Not sure I understand, are you saying 2010 was the last year for the Softail custom? That does sound about right, but they were introduced many years prior to 2007 though, '86 I believe was the first Softail Custom, (Standard was '84).
Here is the 2006, I think this was the last year non CVO. Damn, I just love this bike.

Anyone else remember the Bad Boy Springer?
I helped unload the Harley semi for the demo rides in Sturgis. I'm thinking this was around 1995. I was out there as a demo rider for American Honda (all of their demo guides were MSF instructors). I got to take this beautiful bike out for a ride and evaluation. I told them if I had one, I'd kill myself for sure, because I'd be watching the springer instead of paying attention to the road.

I had a 2005 springer, i love the look, i loved loved it. But it handled like crap and needed more maintenance to care for it. But it is a classic and got attention everywhere, if i could have afford to keep it and still get my road glide i would have.
