Cat scratched lid covers!
I have had with our cat after finding he scratched my lid covers yesterday, he's down to his last lives! I keep indoor cover on my scoot in the garage and wifey thinks he only goes on the seat when the cover is on it and the solution is to leave it off however I found cat hairs on it when leaving it off. Any suggestions? Is there a cover out there that can tighten the bottom making it hard for him to sneak up in there.

I would say leave the cover off and let the cat hairs blow away as you ride. My opinion is if you ride (no Garage Queen) and it is indoors you probably don't need an indoor cover. No cover that I am aware that will keep a curious cat out of.

Mouse traps. Kitty jumps up, kitty gets snapped. If you are worried about breaking paws then weaken the springs. After the third time it gets the **** scared out of it you wont even need to set the traps, just have it peeking over. The sight of them will keep kitty away.
Next part, set up a camera, post video here. Need a good laugh.

Sounds like a good plan, and I would love to see that video!

At home, I cover the bikes with old flannel sheets, takes 10 seconds and keeps the dust off of them. An actual bike cover would only get used outdoors.
We had a cat that liked to sleep on the Roadie seat, but only if the flannel sheet was on the bike. He had no interest in going under the sheet to sleep on the leather seat. Never any damage, just a ring of hair on the sheet from his sleeping location.
We do have a cat that sometimes likes to pluck the front tires with her claws. But apparently Dunlops are strong enough to withstand a cat attack!!
That said, not sure how to keep them off the seat. Can they be kept out of the garage?
