What tires would you recommend to put on a touring bike

it could depends on what rims and what size they are you have on your bike...

More info would help..

Usually Lops.. Mitz's and MC II's are the top 3 picks.

I love my Michelin Commander IIs

I fee that they have a much better grip over the Dunslops.

Twist is our resident curmudgeon. Translation is we need more info on your bike, and your current tires, riding habits like 2up, how much mileage you got from recent tires.
Also, if you do a search, there are many threads on this. Probably not on '66 FLHTC if that is what you ride.

For me, the Dunlap Elite 3's has been the tire of choice. Great handling, longest lasting tire I have found. Rear went 13K Front had 24.5K when I replaced them. It all depends on how you ride, and keep them aired up properly. Wouldn't consider anything else.
