What is "Shrine"?
I understand the special color options for law enforcement and fireman, but what is the "Shrine" edition? It's usually a pretty cool shade of purple. How does one qualify?

Shriners are a fraternal organization similar to Elks or Masons. They do a lot of charity work for children's hospitals and are known to ride motorcycles in parades.
You would need to join the Shriners to qualify for that bike.

"All Shriners are Freemasons, but not all Freemasons become Shriners. The Shrine isn't a Masonic organization — it doesn't confer any degree that continues or enlarges on the Masonic degrees. It’s simply an organization that requires Masonic lodge membership as a prerequisite for joining."
So I guess one could say that all Shriners are also Masons, but they are not the same thing.

You said: "They are not similar to Masons, they are Masons." in response to a statement about the organizations.
The Shriner organization is not a Masonic organization, and they are not related.
