Default 2014 street glide issues

I just changed out my handlebars to 1 1/4 11" apes! I have no dash lights , no gas gauge , no horn, no high beam, and it will not start! I can hear the fuel pump come on!! I've checked fuses , wires , plugs etc. I don't know what else to do! & I get the radio to come on, but can't the volume up or down & can't changed channels either!

Hmmm, do you have a trailer? Might be time to bring it to a dealer or local Indy.

Welcome...nice 1st post.

Unfortunately, you probably pulled, stretched, or pinched a wire during your bar install. I'd say it's time to work backwards and check every wire for continuity and damage...good luck!

Default Very frustrated!!

I've checked all wires for continuity, all fine ! My dtcs says lost comm with speedo , right& left hand controls ! I've more than checked all plugs , checked all wires under the fairing! I've missed nothing! Any more ideas? This bike has only 620 miles on it!

My guess would be you've forgotten to reconnect two harness ends together; or you have one that is not fully seated. I would go to my Service Manual and locate the connector (behind the fairing) that those wires all run through.

I'm talking about the large multi-wire connectors, usually gray or black in color, with 12, 16 and 20 wires terminating into it.

When you make a change like that I would think you would have to extend the wiring harness too. So maybe you should see if you can get a kit with them handle bars that extend ,wiring, break lines, throttle lines.
