Default Improving Motorcycle Safety?

Hey everyone, I am a student at the University of Colorado Denver and for my 2015 thesis, I am looking at how design can improve safety for motorcyclists. I would like to get feedback from as many motorcyclists as I can. If you do not mind helping out that would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the link to the survey.

Thanks again to everyone who helps out.

Done.
I'm not sure though if the h.u.d. in my helmet (when I actually wear one) is anything I would want. I'm more interested in just losing myself in the moment. I don't want all the other outside distractions to intrude on my solitude (my meditation). That's why I ride a no frills dyna. You probably wouldn't understand.

I have seen a couple helmets that have some of the technology you were asking about in the survey but, not many are gonna fork out $1500 for a helmet. Would have to be more budget friendly and that's gonna be a huge task with all of those features. Just my .02

I did the survey. My opinion, phone calls and texting abilities are no friend to safety. Good luck on your thesis.

Teach people in cars to pay attention (good luck with that)

The last thing we need are more "educated idiots" coming up with stupid crap to help us stay "safe".

I think the survey has little to do with safety and a lot to do with a marketing idea for helmet sells.

The thesis dude needs to learn how to to develop a survey. Since he is clearly trying to obtain support on an idea, he should just start out describing his idea for the ultimate helmet with a bunch of worthless features that have noting to do with safety.

To Jonny Foreigners like me it is obviously aimed at our US cousins. I'm obviously getting old, as well as being retired - most of the questions relate to hi-tech stuff I leave at home!
