Default Sportster round air cleaner

Hi out there need some help with my air cleaner. I bought DK customs round K&N air filter unit to replace my K&N stock unit. When I installed it I developed an oil leak at the bottom of the push rod cover. This is actually the second round unit I have tried with the same result each time. I can't figure out why this is happening, the only difference I can see is that on the stock unit the breather bolts are on the inside of the air cleaner where possibly there might be suction from the carburetor pulling air through the breather bolts? Has anyone out there ran into the same issue and do you have a fix for it. I really want to use the round unit not only for looks but also it does not stick out nearly as far as the stock unit.
Thanks
Jeff

Just curious but have you contacted DK about the problem? That might be a logical place to start.
