08 Fat Bob defys logic
Ok, had my fork leg sliders chromed. Started to put forks on and went good! Now putting on rim, notice the calpier on the right would not slide on to rotor because it was to tight to bolt holes on fork leg. On the left side it was the opposite, to much space between caliper and fork leg. I tried changing spacers by putting the bigger spacer on right side of rim and smaller spacer on left side. Now it offset the tire from center of forks. Tried a few ways with spacers back n forth and still same problem. I'm confused!!!!! Tire is back centered now , and rotation is going in the right direction. Totally stumped????? Any help would be greatly appreciated

One important thing when having parts chromed or powdercoated is to make sure all the necessary holes are plugged ahead of time. If not the added thickness of the plating/coating will affect the clearances. You may have to tap or drill out bolt holes if they were plated. Also remember that the bolt holes are not the only issue when plating. Your entire part will be thicker. It may not be by much but it can have a great impact on machined parts with tight tolerances.
