Yes, it will. 08 and up would be the same because of the new 6 gallon tank at the time.

Road King seats come in two different year windows:
1. 1997 through 2007
2. 2008 and later

I have an 02 Roadking in need of a new seat. I found a 2012 Roadking seat that LOOKS identical. Hard to believe it wouldn't fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently tried a LePera Sorrento from a 2005 RG on my 01 RK - it was too short at the front. Had a two inch gap between the front of the seat and the gas tank/console.

RGs. EGs and Ultras use a different seat from a Road king and Street glide. They are longer. I believe the cross over point is the same years tho. You can use a lower dash extension to cover up the area..

I was thinking about that, however, I would need something to extend the tank area too. I haven't seen anything that would work.

Next time try starting your own thread instead of resurrecting one that is 2 years old.

And to answer the question; no, a 2012 seat will not fit a '02. They use different mounts.
