Riding button up shirt zipper hack
So I am not sure if this has already been talked about on a thread but here it goes.
I know some of you might be against riding without leather. That is probably the safest way to ride but in my case, resident of deep south Texas, riding with just a shirt on my small commute to work isn't such a bad thing once in a while.
With that being said I am a big fan of Harley Davidson Shirts because of durability and design, however the price of buying them from the stealership always turns me off. I have only ever purchased 1 shirt brand new from the dealership. The rest that I own are pre-owned off of eBay or flea markets (no shame in my game).
The vast majority of my shirts are a tad bit worn out and discolored but that never bothered me. The only thing that I would dislike is that sometimes the buttons would come undone when I would catch some wind under my pit....so....I sat down the my buddy who does my alterations on my suits, best damn tailor in my town may I add, and we came up with an idea.
Adding a zipper to the inner linning of the button/hole seam.
Attached are some photos so you can see what we did
