Somebody gave me a shield exactly like the one on your bike back in 1994, which I mounted on my then fairly new '93 FXDL.
That thing was atrocious, like a big sail in the wind. All the air came up between the shield and tank and blew my beard up over my eyes, made my head look like one of those little bobbleheads in the back window of a car on a bumpy road.
Searching for a bit of comfort I ditched that HD shield,( actually got 100 bucks for it) and bought one of those compact little Memphis Shades shields.
Looked like hell with all the handlebar clamps and whatnot, but worked great.
