Day maker lights
I have a 2014 FLHTK with 22k. While cleaning the bike the other day I noticed the day maker headlight and running lights had condensation in them. Took it to the dealership and they called HD. HD agreed to change the lights no argument. I'm wondering if this is a new problem or just bad luck.
I can't find any type of crack or problem with the lights. Have had several days of rain riding and washing.

The lights have rubber seals to keep moisture out. Those seals can dry out over time. Also if they are not seated right they can cause problems. Remember just because they are sealed does not mean they are waterproof. When you wash your bike you should never wash the lights, controls, and gauges with a strong stream of water. Just gently rinse them off. Also, let those things thoroughly dry before starting the bike again. The strong stream can penetrate places water should not enter and water can short circuit electrical components.
Hopefully you just got some bad lights and the new ones will fix the issue.

moisture
I have 2011 set of day maker lights. I get the moisture in the spots not the headlight. Just on the inside center of the glass. When I start out on a ride they seem to be dry. Then after a time riding I will stop and it will take a day to dry out again. Can you just buy the rubber seals that dry out? Not the end of the world but want to make it right.
